Okay, here's the deal...
I've recently joined Standing Start Profits, the SUPERB members-only mentorship site founded by Internet Marketing's newest rising star, Lee McIntyre. It's been a wonderful experience so far, and I've really learned a LOT about internet marketing in a very short period of time.
Right off the bat, I decided to join in an intriguing contest dreamed up by a brilliant guy named Colm Butterly (I must have mispelled his name "Butterfly" a million times, but now I've got it down). You see, Colm is an absolute genius when it comes to achieving a high ranking in the search engines, Google in particular. Colm has, as they say, "cracked the code" on the little known back doors and tricks for getting a site/blog/squidoo ranked high on Google.
Being the great guy that he is, Colm has written a eBook on how to dominate the search engines where he shares all of his secrets of how to get placed in the top 10 of Google. Personally, I think he's nuts for giving away all of his secrets, but he's one those Internet Marketers, who, like Lee McIntrye, feel that it is better to give than to receive. Or, more accurately, the more you give, the more you receive in return.
Well, it must be working big time, because you just can't argue with the success and meteroric rise of guys like Lee McIntyre...the proof is in the pudding, as the saying goes.
Ah, but I digress...THE CONTEST!
Oh yes, the contest...here's where it gets interesting. Colm has come up with an elegant idea to kick off the launch of his new eBook, "Search Domination Challenge" by holding a competition to effectively prelaunch a prelaunch. In the contest, contestants compete to see who can achieve the highest ranking in Google and Yahoo with their websites, blogs and Squidoo lenses.
It's been a real honor to compete with this group and more importantly for me, it's really opened up my eyes on the art of search engine placement and DOMINATING GOOGLE!!!
So, I'm going to be writing about this contest and keeping you abreast of my progress and hopefully my ROAD TO VICTORY!!!
